We strongly support our local and regional music scene. Send your press kit to: The Oneonta Theatre 47 Chestnut St., Oneonta, NY 13820 Attn: Dream maker/ heartbreaker. Include your show history (including where, when, ticket price, and what your band drew… and tell the truth). Please allow 4-6 weeks before following up with an email to: info@oneontatheatre.com.
Yes! The OT has combined seating and standing room for 665. We can also provide seating for up to 700. All shows are general admission unless otherwise advertised.
Hell yes you do! This is America! Government issued photo ID is required for entry to all shows.
Shows generally begin one hour after doors open at 8 p.m. (some shows start earlier – check the ticket or web page for your show to confirm!). One to three support acts usually precede the headliner who will typically take the stage at 10pm or 11pm. For exact set times, call the box office at 607-643-4022 during business hours on day of show.
We take great pride in our local beers and wines. The OT has a large and diverse bottled and draft beer menu and wine list. Our people know their booze and can recommend a mischievous little merlot with your Milk Duds, a playful and presumptuos pinot grigio to accent your pop corn and the right ice cold beer to accompany your bratt. There’s plenty of bottled water and soft drinks along with a wide selection of classic movie theatre concession confections. We even have some healthy stuff. Go to our home page and click on menu. for a complete list of food and beverages. You must show proof of age by government issued photo ID and obtain a wristband to be served alcohol at the bar.
The OT does not issue press passes or photo passes. All press inquires should be directed to the band’s publicist, label or management.
Photo policy varies for different artists and is usually not determined until day of show. You can bring a non-professional camera to most shows and inquire about the photo policy at the door but if the answer’s no, you will have to check your camera in the coat check at your own expense or leave it somewhere off premises.
Maybe, but what are you going to do for us? Let us suggest a few things. We are always in search of street teamers and folks to flier. We also offer Hartwick and SUCO students discounts on select shows in an effort to distract them from their studies.
The OT has a coat check but we encourage you to arrive dressed like it’s spring break and you’re in Ft Lauderdale… even in February.
You can burn. But not here. There is no smoking anywhere inside The OT. The only ones who can smoke are the entertainment as it’s considered a theatrical prop (really) and allowed by law. However, there is an outdoor smoking section that our staff will be happy to show you to.
Sorry, but there is absolutely NO RE-ENTRY and all exits are final (excluding the smoking area).
There is no designated parking. There is ample street parking in the neighborhood and over on Water St. in the parking garage. But go green and walk, ride your bike or carpool it.
No. We show movies, do all forms of live theatre, and community events whenever possible. Go to our home page and click on calendar and films for the complete schedule of OT programming.
You bet you can! Email details to: info@oneontatheatre.com and we’ll get right back to you with available dates and rates.
